Clear choices, minimal data

This page explains the information DealerScore uses to run accounts, reviews and local dealer search.

1

Account and review information

When you register, the authentication provider stores your sign-in details. Reviews store your account identifier, rating, written feedback and any experience date you choose to provide.

2

Location search

Your browser asks for location only after you tap “Use my location”. Coordinates are used to calculate nearby UK dealers for that search and are not saved to your DealerScore account.

3

Public dealer information

Dealer names, addresses, contact details and listing information come from public business sources. Reviews submitted by signed-in users and their effect on aggregate ratings appear publicly immediately.

4

Your choices

You can decline location access and search manually. You can also sign out at any time. Account and review management controls will expand as the service develops.

5

Dealer accounts and reports

Dealer claim details, subscription status, profile edits and review concerns are used to provide Dealer Pro tools and support independent admin decisions. Payment provider identifiers will be stored only after secure checkout is connected and used to manage the subscription.
